Traumatic events take a toll on both our emotions and body. Recovery from trauma requires an understanding of its effect so that no necessary step is missed in helping a person heal. We need a safe space to heal from trauma or to better understand our journey through related grief and loss. Healing starts with having someone who will bear witness to your story and help you learn how to carry what can't be fixed.
Learning to be mindfully present in life helps us with making major decisions. Understanding parts of ourselves more deeply can help us in becoming "unstuck" and have a more whole, authentic sense of self.
Finding a good work/life balance can be challenging. The expectations others have of us can be overwhelming. Effectively managing stress can lead to improved decision-making and a healthier lifestyle!
